Soggy Weather = Happy Plants

Well, it’s a bit soggy around here, but at least the plants are happy. Our yard is well stocked at this point and almost all of our spring orders have arrived, but we are still receiving plants weekly.

Come see the many amazing plants we have in stock. We have lots from choose from to help you with your next job.

Please note our new fax number is 207 -221- 1169.

We are almost full

We have a great selection of trees, shrubs and evergreens in our yard already with more still on the way. Digging is wrapping up for most B&B plant material including evergreens. Please let us know what you need and we will let you know if we have it or can get it.

The attached list represents what is currently in stock. However, we are in the process of fine tuning our inventory and have a lot of plants that are here but have not been added to the list yet so please email, fax or call if you do not see what you are looking for. We will let you know if we have the plants in stock or when they are due to arrive. We have been very busy this challenging spring and doing our best to get our inventory current.

If you need delivery please call early as we are booking ahead a week or so. We hope you busy and we hope to see you soon in our yard.

For those of you who still fax, our fax number has changed. The new number is 207-229-1169

Please note we will be closed this Saturday, April 28 due to an unforeseen circumstance.

New Yard Filling Up Fast

Spring is here, but where are the spring rains? Our new irrigation system is up and running overtime…but its only mid-April. It will be interesting to see what is in store for the rest of the season.

Our expanded yard is filling up fast, but still have many more plants scheduled to arrive. Let us know if you need anything in larger quantities or not included on the list below as trucks are now arriving daily.

Hope you are busy!

Holy Cow It’s Spring Already!!

I guess we are not going to ease into this one! As I write this, it reads 71 on the thermometer. It is only mid-March and forecasted to get even warmer over the next couple of days. One of the drawbacks to our incredibly warm winter is that plants are waking up extra early this year. Once the trees and shrubs start to wake up, my suppliers will not be able to dig them anymore this spring. This could be as soon as the end of March if the warm weather continues over the next couple of weeks. We have already started to receive deliveries of plant material so if you know you will need something, please let us know as soon as you can to ensure we can get what you need.

See our attached availability and note on the top of the list that we are also now carrying select A.M Leonard tools. If you don’t know about A.M. Leonard, they are a nursery and horticultural supplier that produces top quality tools that often can’t be found anywhere else. They stand behind their products and all the tools include a lifetime warranty. Come see these tools in person on display in our office. We also have Bull Dog Tarps and will soon have some Moo Doo bagged soil products for planting your trees and shrubs.

I hope you are all getting out there and enjoying this weather and getting a jump on the season. We are now open Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and hope to hear from you soon.

May be mid-February, but Feels like Spring

Here at HORT Resource we are very excited about the upcoming season! We’re also equally excited to share our Spring 2012 Availability below.

As you may remember, last fall we made a number of improvements to our location that will make our yard much more efficient for loading and unloading. Gone is all the muck and puddles! In it’s place, a new gravel driveway with rows that will be much easier to manage and an enlarged container area. New this spring we will be carrying a number of tools, including ball carts, nursery spades, pruners, tarps and more. Be on the lookout for an email detailing our new products in March.

With the mild winter we’ve been having, people are anxious for spring to officially arrive. The phone has started to ring and we have been busy quoting spring jobs. We are still finalizing our spring orders so if you are looking for something you don’t see on the availability below, let us know and we will do our best to locate it for you.

Think spring!
